i thank God fer all these actually. tells me more abt not takin all good things fer granted. and so ma movie date wasnt a very pleasin one afterall. i've always see communication as being one of the most impt aspect in any form of relationship. so when everythin goes mum, you know theres smthg wrong.


had trainin till 10. ma hands are all red and sore. blisters all over. wads more? i accidentally cut ma finger while carryin a drum by maself. aint sure if i'll be able to play well fer the next 3 performances i'll be havin. sigh.


things aint goin smoothly fer ma project group and i too. ohwell.. i hope the mini conflict din cause too much destruction to our friendship. i want to tell you that right from the beginning, i was neva angry with you.



seein things thru a red piece of translucent plastic, makes everythin you see appears red. its when you start lettin emotions take control and cant really see where im comin from. i know it all takes time. we're learnin, and im happy to have known you. im sorry if i've caused you the agitation.

relookin at those photos we took on that day makes me smile again. so tell me, what are senseless conflicts compared to this friendship of ours?

19th - 22nd jun: the retreat was awesome; memorable genting trip with ma churchmates. on top of all the fun we had, i enjoyed the services most. sermons hit me hard and im greatly encouraged by it.


23rd - 24th jun: festive drum league camp at NUS was funnnn. we got to experience a one-day stay at the hostel there, one person to a room. woo. during the camp, i was practically laughin like no tomoro. thanks to nobu-san, attemptin to teach ppl like awcheesiang and chiachinsiong japanese. that 2 retarded kichigais.


so...


i learnt that mole in japanese is called: hokuro.
and king in japanese is called: o-sama.
i knew big is.. okii.
while kichigai means.. CRAZY.


i said this to aw: "anata no hokuro totemo okii desu." (your mole is very big.)

the whole time, aw was exclaimin: "watashi wa HOKURO no OSAMA." (i am the king of moles.)

and choon was randomly shoutin: "watashi wa kichigai no osama."(i am the king of lunatics.)



hail the two ultimate kichigais. LOL. but seriously, they're always the two jokers who make trainings seem less stressful. so thanks fer all the crazy times and laughta. btw, CCHS really have some very good drummers. i had a great time with ma fellow groupmates, PEACH! (: and i still remember all your names (jingxia, xiaojie, nobu, belson, danny, ruixiang)


and okay, i just came back from ma cousin's wedding chalet. yay. anotha cousin, married. woo. i saw all ma paternal relatives again. was hangin ard with xinyi (ma younga cousin) the whole time while she was there. had some sharin session with her. im prayin fer God's time to come.


saw ma two brothas too. im so excited that im goin to live with ma big brotha (with his gf, dad and aunt) when he gets a new apartment. weee. i cant wait fer sundays whereby i can go church with jiejie, and hopefully, kor and dad. no longa cabbin alone. im prayin that kor and his gf gets to go next year's church retreat. i know God will make a way..


wooooohooo. lack of slp ahhhhh. and i mean it big time. was doin project till 1am+ and i fell aslp on the table. woke up at 3am (time to po mata) and finished the whole thing at 6am. slept fer 2 hrs. went fer church, then chalet.

19th - 22nd jun: church retreat.
23rd - 24th jun: zingo camp.
30th jun: dragon boat festival rehearsal (and its a crappy time of 12pm-4pm)

1st jul: 4eA class gatherin (yipeee!)
2nd jul: zingo concert, dragon boat festival performance.
21st jul: guest performance fer dance ensemble. (lol.)

but anyway, i heard from aw that there'll be a football night @ TP on 30th jun, whereby all tp students can watch soccer togetha. LOL.


oh yess. regardin the zingo concert that i've highlited above.. (zingo's the external drum troupe im in, with majority of TP salvo senior drum-mates!) we're havin a concert! friends and beloveds who are interested in watchin us perform, tickets are goin @ $12. kallang theatre, 7pm.

lol. im not crazy lahhh. i KNOW its only termTESTS. but to marketers.. its just like our only exam, since we wont be havin final exams (bsides our annoyin end of semestral tests) but i guess end of sem tests, fer us, are good anyway. cuz i think theres huge tendency that we pay more emphasis to those chapters tested and neglect those last few chapters. sooooooooo. end of sem tests are good.


but i just hope you realise that i didnt actually say i LIKE end of sem tests. haha. (x

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak...


"I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, son?" "Just some old birds," came the reply.


"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.


"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered "I'm gonna tease 'em and pluck out all their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time!"


"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?"


"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."


The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, son?"


"Huh?!?! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"


"How much?" the pastor asked again.


The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"


The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.


The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.




Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.


One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"


"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.


Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"


"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked. "Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly. "How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked


"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"


"How much?" He asked again.


Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."


Jesus said, "DONE!"


Then He paid the price, died on the cross for you and I.

tears welled up uncontrollably when i first heard it. its a touchin piece of music. im just afraid that i cant leverage the melody with the lyrics that im gonna compose. but i'll try. i reckon its gonna take up quite some time, since i've neva tried composin bfore. haha.
