woots. back from poly forum at JB.

was quite an enjoyable & enrichin experience.. though im thinkin dat some of da things could have been betta. like ppl showin da basic respect, to keep quiet when othas are presentin. /:


if you're thinkin dat im da one presentin, den you're wrong! why cant we all learn to put ourselves into othas' shoes?


hmm. overall it was okay la. perhaps, i was jus feelin very down durin da earlier part of da day when ma grpmates were tryin their best presentin, while othas were busy makin noise at da back.


da theme was "singapore - a land of opportunities". and all participants were spilted into da 4 sub-themes. i was from subtheme 2 "securin our place". so there, we went discussin abt da problems, acknowledge them, comin up wid da solutions etc. it all broaden ma perspective on how we youths can have an impact in makin a difference!


there are many thoughts and feelings i've gotten from this forum, but it jus seems like theres too much fer me to blog abt. also, not forgettin da interestin ppl i've met from da various polytechnics. hahaha. ma subsub theme grp was seemingly da best la! ^^


i even got maself a nickname; japanese girl. the guys dun even find it a mouthful can. eh japanese! ya lah, mus be you lah, japanese girl! yadda yadda. ya everythin also me. they can even be sooooooo ridiculous to link me to WW2 okays. askin how things were when hiroshima got bombed. and they continue talkin abt da economic bomb dat japan is givin america back. *slaps forehead*

if you wanna noe smthg. i suppose TP were da loudest there. HAHAHA. wearin HOTPINK polo tees wid our trademark "na si wa wu ji pa ban" song. sheesh. *pinkpinkpinkpinkpink* we even took initiative by scatterin ourselves amongst da 5 polys, cheerin and makin noise. haha. dats da TP SPIRIT mans.


oh aniwaes, we din get to shop there. and i only spent less than RM40 there. *-* on some snacks and room services.


i also learnt dat a small lil thing called CHINA PEAR is veryvery potent. it makes ppl cough non-stop, makes ppl "high". on a more serious note, it can trigger off asthma. cuz apparently, adeline's roomate had an asthma attack at nite. and someone even got hospitalised bcuz of dat. *shakes head* mans, should have took a photo of it. /:


oh yes, there was an exchange programme wid some students of Johor Bahru Polytechnic. heh heh. and i got maself a buddy! (:





she's so frenly can! she even gave me a transparent ring as a gift exchange! ^^



their service there is verrrrryverrrrry slow. im not complainin la.. perhaps its jus their way or life or wad. pretty laid back. cuz they can take 1 hr fer jussa fries order etc.


so this was stef and ma anotha room service order.




okay. hers is at da top. pretty obvious.. a cheesecake. mine is warm choc cake. BUT, by da time they bring into our room. ma vanilla ice cream already look like mayo. sigh.


oh yes. shall talk abt ma roomate, stefanie! hohoho. she was actually da gurl who wrote a letter, sayin dat she has decided to withdrawn from the SU subcomm due to personal committments.


hahha. now, she has bcame ma buddy. we stuck closely to each otha fer da past 3 days and did sooo many things togetha. (pls think straight) i wont forget we skipped dinner jus to catch some slp and were 2hrs late fer dinner, and dat we actually cried when we were watchin this cartoon on disney channel.. hahaha. stef! sorry if i alwaes wanted to go back to da room instead of joinin othas at da pub ks. (: its not a nice place to chill aniwaes. yes.. pls ask your bf to thank me. HAHAHHAHA. oh yes, i also learnt a lil photography frm you. er though i dun really noe how to explain cuz.. like wad you say, photography is about feelings! i think da pictures we took were so nice lors. (: wooos. seeya in sch babe!
