i think being called fer the audition today was kinda waste of time.. hah. kinda like a question and answer session, and at the same time, the 3 lecturers were lookin fer newfaces of TP. blah. you know what i mean. gettin featured in TP ads and stuff. i thought it was a diploma rep like how ms reena described to me.


haha. thank God i happen to know one of the lecturers present, mr ferlin (from LAW). so i wasnt that intimidated. and the audition went like this..

i entered the room with a fellow senior mktg student, aliff. plus anotha 2 LOM students.


mr ferlin: so tell me whats interesting about your diploma, jasmine?
me: oh. basically theres alot about it. its a very versatile diploma with lotsa career opportunities.
mr ferlin: hmm okay. (and asked aliff the same qn.)


LOL. i was kinda awed by aliff's answer. first time hearin him speak. he talked about Dr Anold Tan wantin to brand TP marketin students into brand specialists. woot! but he forgot whats our tagline. HAHAHAHA.


me: yea, we have a tagline! "creatin a brand specialist."
mr ferlin: oh! i see. so if i were to ask you to suggest a tagline fer retail mgmt. what would that be?
me: huh what?! we're rivals! (yes yes. i didnt hold that sentence back.)
mr ferlin (laughing): dont you know rivals can become your clients?
me: oh well. *paused and thought hard fer a suitable tagline*
mr ferlin: so thats whats marketin all about? what bout you aliff?
aliff: ...
mr ferlin: no? *gives an i-am-not-impressed expression*
me: "its more than just selling."
mr ferlin: ooo. i like that.


HAHA. yay. i didnt throw marketing's face. :P (okay pardon that childish statement) heh. he also asked LOM students to come up with a tagline fer their diploma. i forgot what their answers were. but his reply was..


"hmm yea, you guys should just stay in LOM."

LOL. aiya, cant really be bothered if im chosen or not. i think chances are pretty slim.


hang ard with alvin fer some time and went fer SL's appreciation dinner with alan, pinwen, bah. basically the whole gang of usual kakis.
