// first day at work!

HELLO!

here to read about ma first day at work? all i can say is.. i just wish the followin 11 weeks WILL PASS BY FASTER.

is that enough? haa. i needed some colours to brighten up ma entry today bcuz ma job today was dropdead borin. im supposed to send individualised (not mass) emails to 500+ contacts on the database by next tuesday. (and in between clamps lotsa otha work) i dread today's work cuz i made a hell grave mistake. its quite hard to explain, but just read on.

i wanted so much to bang the wall when i realised what happened, even tho i knew whats sent out cant be unsent. but ma supervisor, serene, was kind enough to say "hmm whats done cannot be undone, just be more careful.."

its very much like keyin in entries fer SPSS, the difference being, you can afford to key in wrong values and just redo it again fer SPSS, but you cant unsend an email. imagine, you're representin the marketin team notifyin your potential clients about latest promotions, and they saw the word "FWD", with the other unrelated/undeleted messages. like wth?

those readin the mails arent ordinary sales rep, but directors, managers, finance controllers, HR ppl.

AHHHH. okay. hahahaha. i think you all got the picture. sooo, that was a bloody stupid mistake i made. i did make an effort to be extra careful, but somehow, things went wrong. but if you were thinkin WHY DIDNT I SEE THOSE UNDELETED STUFF ANYWAY! that came much quicker to ma mind, so.. i then realise the image was overlappin those words i was supposed to delete. fer the followin mails, i was too afraid to use the template i was asked to, so i started on a clean mail instead.

so they say, interns are suppose to make mistakes? but at the end of the day, i realise it was more than just makin mistakes, it means havin to learn to accept the mistakes made!

sigh. strictly office wear fer the next 11 weeks, thats why im countin down. i just know how you all understand how i feel, "oh man, kazumi in office wear fer 11wks??"

hehe. i hope all ma friends are copin well fer SIP. and yea, tmr's gonna be a better day!

i wanna be a student foreverrrr! so i can have the usual hangouts with friends and throw our books high up in the air when exams end! boo. all of us are bound to miss our life as a student when we enter the workin society. you will then know what "NO LIFE" really means. so dont complain, enjoy what you have now. (:
