// blueblacks on face = no photos

wee. just got back from settlers'. it really brought back memories of ma first visit there, with the long-lost clique, MMC. esp alan's infectious laughter, pong's slow reflexes, tat's entertainin mimickings.. and that very time when we played the hauntedhouse board game. the scary ambience created by the gamers was unforgettable.

anyhow, after 2 yrs, i stepped into settlers' agn today. hilariously fun as well.. jerry got all of us cracked up at his amusing expressions and mannerisms. david really amazed me with his super quick reflexes. and chinting.. totally reminds me of pong. hahaha. slowest reflex in the grp. :P

something more personal and close to ma heart..

work breezed thru this week. perhaps due to the growin closeness shared between ma upper level boys and maself. minT club! lovely right? (:

she doubts ma capabilities in handlin challengin upper level boys because.. she thinks i play w them more than disciplin them. but anyway, i shldnt be bothered by what she thinks, because.. if she's truly concerned abt their well-being, she shld be happy that the boys have found a teacher whom they can relate to. X(

i've never believed that a teacher's role is to scold, or nag unecessarily. but more like to relate, to care, to understand, and learn to feel like them. personally i feel advices and scoldings are much more effective when the students are comfortable in openin up to you or look up to you. see the challenge now? give and take. its all abt the right balance.

the reason why most teachers failed miserably in conversin with notorious students is because they demand respect, not earn it.

i will miss this v special grp of 7 when i leave in end of january.
